How to use this tool
Select the project, budget and SEO preference that fit your needs.
Read the relative ranking and the reasons. Points are preference weights, not a rating out of ten.
Check essential integrations, skills, operating costs and ownership terms before accepting a shortlist.
How the ranking works
Each platform gets editorial fit points for the kind of site you are building, plus smaller points for your budget and for how much SEO matters. The total is a relative ordering score, not a mark out of ten. A custom build is not ranked below the budget it usually needs. The weights are our assumptions, not measured product performance.
This three-question shortlist cannot check essential features, skills, recurring costs or maintenance constraints. A top rank is a starting point for requirements review, not a complete platform recommendation. Ownership depends on the platform terms, licences and implementation.
