Google Ads Budget Estimator
Work out a realistic monthly Google Ads budget for your business, based on Australian industry benchmarks. Pick your industry, location and lead goal, and we'll estimate a sensible range, not a single misleading number.
Estimate your monthly budget
Three quick inputs. Benchmarks are Australian-market averages, updated quarterly.
How to use this tool
- Select the industry that best matches your business. Each carries its own average cost-per-click and conversion rate from Australian market data.
- Choose your location scope. Metro Melbourne is more competitive than state-wide or national averages, so it carries a small premium.
- Enter how many leads or sales you want each month. The tool works backwards from that goal to the clicks, and therefore the budget, you'd need.
How the numbers are calculated
The estimator uses a transparent model. It adjusts the industry's average cost-per-click for your location, works out how many clicks your goal requires given the industry conversion rate, and multiplies the two for a monthly figure. It then shows a sensible range around that number, because no honest forecast is a single exact figure.
Benchmarks are aggregated Australian-market averages and are refreshed quarterly. They're a starting point for planning, not a guarantee. Your real costs depend on your specific keywords, competitors, ad quality and landing pages.
